"KIM FUNG" Must visit chinese restaurant in hyderabad!

“Kim Fung” which means golden peacock! A family run restaurant in Tarnaka Opposite NIN Bus Stop, Vijayapuri Colony, Lalaguda road, is a very small restaurant where people are lined up outside all the time, reason??? !!  Best budget friendly and most delicious Chinese joint around, restaurant serves Pure oriental food rather then asian-chinese combinations. Courses includes soups, appetizers, main course, rice and noodles preparations and yeah oriental desserts like date pancake & ice-cream.

well I have tried many of their dishes but the one which really stands out according to me is
“CRISPY HONEY CHILLI VEG “  the moment you have a bite of it , it feels like the angels have come down to make that dish !!! The flavors go so well from sweet sour towards a slight spice at the end. Other dishes to try are drunken chicken, drums of heaven,  for noodles and rice lovers they have schezwan noodles , lemon chili rice, chilly burn garlic rice etc  which are  based of chicken, vegetables , prawns or mix of prawns and chicken and for the soups  wanton soup , jade, jade corn or classic Cantonese soup.

A must visit place if you like Chinese food and yeah you have to do prior booking or have to stand in line for your turn to come. And believe me the wait is worth it!! Around 600-700 bucks for two but The food over there is heaven I would rate it 4.5 out of 5.

kebab paradise : Sidddique kabab Centre

“Kebab” that’s the only word enough for your mouth to start watering isn’t it ??
Well I have been roaming on the streets of Hyderabad for one of the best kababs and have visited many of places such as “Bademiyan ke kebab” but this one is one of the best places to have kabab if you are in Tolichowki (Hyderabad-Telangana) area .

“Sidddique kabab Centre” serves a wide variety of kababs such as Mutton sheek , Boti kabab Fish tikka, BBQ prawns and also chicken kababs such as chicken tikka  hariyali tangadi, and arabic bbq chicken kebab. This joint serves Indian Chinese and also Arabic food which is quite famous in Tolichoiwki. Dishes includes chicken mhasala, chicken pyazi and of course different types of biryani’s are served. The place is two storage but extra charges are levied if you want to enjoy your meal on level 1 where sitting arrangement has been done but from my point of view you would love to have your meal on ground floor itself where you can have a glance at different types of kebabs which are featured and the making of your own ordered kebab.

Overall a very good place with one of the wide range of items, good taste, ambiance is not fancy or as fine dining but good enough to keep you going Would easy cost you 500-600 for two. So next time if you are around tolichowki do visit this kebab centre and let me know your reviews on it . J

Tiramisu

An Italian dessert loved by many of us ,So today I thought I’l share a easy to make tiramisu recipe.
it’s a bit twist given to the authentic recipe but I bet you’l love the results.

So lets start there are basically 3 parts the base which is a pound cake traditionally  ladyfinger cookies are used which are soaked with coffee and liqueur which is a 2nd part  And a filling which is made by using Mascarpone cheese

 so for Pound cake :
100gm flour
100gm powder sugar
100gm Butter
2 Eggs
1 Tbspn Vanilla essence

Method:
  1. Cream Butter and add sugar to it and after it is mixed properly add eggs into it.
  2. After creaming it together add flour to this batter and mix it well and at the end add essence.
  3. Take square cake mould grease it with butter and dust flour so that the batter won’t stick to the mould.
  4. Add this batter into the mould and bake it at 180C for 20-25mins in a pre-heated Oven.
  5. Keep it for cooling once it is baked.

For 2nd part which is a coffee liqueur
for this you need to make espresso which is water plus coffee, and add any coffee liqueur most common liqueur found in India is Khaula . but if u don’t find khalua or any other coffee liqueur then you can use Dark Rum

And for the filling :
  1. You need equal quantities of Mascarpone cheese and whipped cream.
  2. Cream chilled Mascarpone cheese into a bowl and add whipped cream into it.
  3. Quantity depends upon how much filling you want to add , but make sure both are in equal quantities.

Now the last part laying :

  1. Take the cake and cut it into 3 layers horizontally.
  2. Now take the 1st layer and sprinkle coffee liqueur mixture on it.
  3.  Once it soaks it add the layer of the filling on top and make it even with the help of pallet knife.
  4. Now add the 2nd layer of cake and repeat the steps till the 3rd layer is done.
  5. On top layer sprinkle coffee on it and keep it in refrigerator for cooling
  6. Once it is cooled cut it into small pieces and enjoy :D

Coco's Bar & Grill is a Terrace Bar & Grill Restaurant situated in Banjara Hills Hyderabad. They provide with wide variety Continental food and a very good list of beverages for those who love ;)

Anti-Pesto Grilled Vegetables

Ambiance is  awesome filled with good music ,Live(sometimes). Its not that expensive compared to other places.
Good place for celebrating with your friends and certainly one of the good hangout place on weekends . I would Rate this place 4 out of 5 just because of a bit slow service.
